Homework finished? Spend what you earned.

How it works

Set the work. Then let the world do the nagging.

Most homework apps stop at the assignment. Together Time keeps going, because finishing is what puts something new in the room.

  1. Set the work

Add homework, a reading passage, or a lesson from the library. Give it a due date, or leave it open.

  2. They do it

Kids work through it in Together Time. You can see what's finished — and where they got stuck.

  3. They earn coins

Every finished piece pays out. Nothing finished means nothing earned, and that part isn't up for debate.

  4. They build

Coins buy hair, outfits, wallpaper and furniture. The world they're building is why they come back tomorrow.

and then it starts again

The avatar builder

A character that’s really theirs.

Before any of the work gets done, kids make someone to do it as. They pick the face, the hair, the outfit — and then they keep changing it, because it’s theirs.

  • Five skin tones, five hair colours, three hair styles
  • New outfits unlock as work gets finished
  • Their character walks into every room they build
  • Nothing costs real money — everything is earned

The home builder

A home they designed themselves.

Room by room, kids choose the wallpaper, place the furniture, and decide what goes on the walls. It is the most reliable answer we’ve found to “why should I finish this?”

  • Start with one room — more open up as they keep going
  • Every piece can be placed, moved, and taken back out
  • Their avatar lives in the space they made
  • Friends can visit, and you get the tour

Questions

The things people ask first.

What is Together Time used for?

Together Time is a gamified education platform for parents and teachers. You set the work; kids finish it and earn pieces for the character and the home they build. Parents use it for homework and reading; teachers use it to set work for a whole class at once.

What ages is Together Time for?

Most families use it between about 6 and 13. Younger kids tend to want a hand setting up their first character; older ones usually want to be left alone with the builder.

Is Together Time free?

Yes. There's a free plan covering one learner, the core lessons, the avatar builder and one room to decorate. The Family plan is $20 a month for up to 4 learners, and the Classroom plan is $60 a month for up to 35 students.

Is it safe? What happens to my child's data?

There is no advertising, no third-party tracking, and no chat with people you haven't approved. We collect what's needed to run the account and nothing more, and you can export or delete all of it from your account settings.

Does my child need their own device?

No. One device is enough — you can share a screen. If they do have their own, progress follows the account rather than the device, so they can pick up where they left off.

How does Together Time motivate kids to do homework?

Finishing work is what earns coins, and coins are what buy hair, outfits, wallpaper and furniture for the character and the home they're building. Nothing finished means nothing earned, and the reward is something they get to keep rather than a score or a streak.

Does Together Time work for homeschooling?

Yes. You can set your own work rather than only drawing on the library, so a homeschool day can run through it. One Family plan covers up to 4 learners on a single account.

Can a teacher track a whole class in Together Time?

Yes. The Classroom plan covers up to 35 students, and you can set the same work for everyone at once. You'll see who has finished without collecting anything in.

How much work has to be finished before something unlocks?

You decide. Every task carries a coin value that you set, so a page of maths and a chapter of reading can be worth whatever feels right for your kid.

Can kids visit each other's homes?

Yes, once you switch it on. Visits are view-only — a friend can look around a home, but they can't move or take anything in it.

Give them a reason to finish.

Set the first piece of work tonight. They’ll have somewhere to put what they earn by tomorrow.
